শরিফুল ইসলাম একজন বাংলাদেশি শান্তি কর্মী, আন্তঃধর্মীয় সংলাপের চিন্তাবিদ ও নৈতিক নেতৃত্বে বিশ্বাসী তরুণ, যিনি ধর্মীয় জ্ঞান, যুক্তিবাদী সংলাপ এবং মানবিক মূল্যবোধের মাধ্যমে বৈশ্বিক শান্তি ও সহনশীলতা প্রতিষ্ঠায় কাজ করে যাচ্ছেন। তিনি ২০০১ সালে জামালপুর জেলায় জন্মগ্রহণ করেন এবং ভারতের বর্ধমান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ইলেকট্রিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং-এ স্নাতক সম্পন্ন করেন।

তিনি বিশ্বাস করেন—যেখানে সত্য নেই, সেখানে প্রকৃত শান্তি টিকে না। আর সত্যকে দৃঢ় করার জন্য প্রয়োজন জ্ঞান, যুক্তি ও নৈতিকতা। তাই শরিফুল ইসলাম ধর্মীয় জ্ঞানের আলোকে শান্তি, সহনশীলতা এবং যুক্তিভিত্তিক চিন্তাচর্চা ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ। তার মতে, পরিবর্তনের আসল পথ শুরু হয় সত্য, বিবেক ও দায়িত্বশীলতা থেকে—সহিংসতা বা ঘৃণা থেকে নয়।

তিনি কুরআন ও মহানবী হযরত মুহাম্মদ (সা.)-এর সুন্নাহ দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয়ে এমন একটি সমাজ গড়ে তুলতে কাজ করছেন, যেখানে মানুষ একে অপরকে শ্রদ্ধা করে, ধর্ম ও মতাদর্শের পার্থক্য সত্ত্বেও শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে সহাবস্থান করে, এবং তরুণ সমাজ জ্ঞানের আলোকে আলোকিত নেতৃত্বে উঠে আসে।
